Roush Debuts 700HP SEMA Mustang

SEMA show car reveals the tuning house’s upcoming Stage 3 Mustang package.

Roush Performance, in collaboration with Ford Racing and Sherwin-Williams Automotive Paints, created this stunning 700-horsepower Roush Stage 3 Mustang just in time for an appearance at the 2012 SEMA Show. At its hearts is an engine package consisting of a Ford Racing Aluminator Engine and Roush Phase 3 Supercharger Kit rated at 700 hp and 585 lb-ft of torque, making it the most powerful Mustang Roush has ever produced.

Today, at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, the jig is up for the rest of the Ford Mustang tuners as ROUSH Performance unveiled the P-51A Mustang automobile which, at 510 horsepower and 510 lb.-ft. of torque, is sure to be held in as high a regard as the airplane has been in the history books and will help to save the streets from the invasion of the foreign brands.

Exterior enhancements include a two-tone Sin City Silver and Luminescent Lime custom paintjob, a Roush R6 aerobody kit and performance exhaust, a hood scoop, quarter window louvers, a suspension kit with extreme lowering springs, a lower grille, hood struts, and 20-inch metallic black five spoke alloys. Inside can be found a color-coordinated Ford Racing X-Brace, Recaro custom seats, illuminated sill plates, billet performance pedals, suede steering wheel, and a stage 3 trim package. Further details, including pricing, will be released in due course. - See more at:

Roush Vs. Shelby Mustangs

You don't need a huge bank account in order to go really, really fast.

It’s without a doubt one of the best horsepower bangs for your buck on the market today. In fact, the Ford Mustang has always been a bargain since it first premiered in mid-1964. But say if today’s stock Mustang GT doesn’t quite do it for you? Sure it’s got a wonderful V8, but you just gotta have more. Fortunately there are options, and two of them are the Shelby GT500 and the Roush Stage 3, producing 662 and 675 horsepower respectively.

Compared to any supercar with similar output from Italy, it’ll cost you well north of $100k. You can’t go wrong with either of these Mustangs, but as a speed nut, you still want to know which of the two is the fastest at the drag strip. This new video provides the answers you’re looking for. - See more at:

Roush Reveals 2014 Mustangs

An array of upgrades has been released for 2014 Stangs, with a full loaded Roush Stage 3 Mustang costing around $75,000.

Roush Performance has become the go-to tuning house for anyone wanting to upgrade their Mustang without spending a small fortune. For 2014, Roush is offering an array of goodies, from the RS V6 styling package to the supercharged Stage 3 package that boosts power to 675 hp, the offerings for the final year of the current Stang covers all bases. In between, the 5.0-liter V8 Roush Stage 1 Mustang receives a more extensive aero body kit than the RS V6, a choice of alloys and interior upgrades.

A racetrack inspired suspension is added for the Stage 2 Mustang, while the Stage 3 Stang gets a supercharger which cranks up the 5.0-liter engine to 575 hp and 505 lb-ft of torque, as well as a performance suspension, hood scoop, rear deck-lid spoiler and customized graphics. If that’s not enough a new “Aluminator” forged engine built in collaboration with Ford Racing has been introduced. The Phase 2 package further boosts output to 625 hp and Phase 3 takes it to 675 hp. - See more at:
