At 21 miles per gallon in the city and 26 on the highway*, Ford Ranger will help you get where you’re going with some money left in your pocket to spend when you arrive.
Ranger’s independent short/long arm front suspension with stabilizer bar keeps the ride smooth under normal driving conditions for XL and XLT 4x2. But for rougher going, a front torsion bar is substituted on XL and XLT 4x4; select SPORT and FX4, vehicles more likely to off-road it. The 4x4s also get jolt-absorbing heavy-duty gas shocks.
*EPA-estimated 21 city/26 hwy mpg with 2WD 2.3L I4 engine and 5-speed manual transmission.
